NotesThe conservation plan described in this document is intended to “identify, acknowledge, and support actions needed to conserve lampreys in the service of the mission of the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife” (p.3) It gives management strategies and identifies areas needing monitoring, research and evaluation. ODFW acknowledges that it lacks the resources to fully address factors limiting lamprey populations, and will need to coordinate with other groups working on natural resource issues.
