Notes | News item about a possible closure of a logging road onto privately owned land that would have limited the public’s access to fishing sites along the Siletz River. Trash dumping, belligerent drivers and recreational fisheries waste were creating problems for the private land owner. A community meeting was held. The land owner heard the public and agreed to keep the road open; the public agreed to take license plate numbers and report bad behavior. |
