Notes | This article summarizes strategies for minimizing the impacts of hatchery salmonid production on wild salmonids. Five case studies are presented, including a study on the summer steelhead run on the Siletz River. The author gives an excellent summary on the history of fish management on the Siletz, and recounts the successful strategy for restoring this small native run. |
