Notes“The lower Siletz River basin sustained major damage as a result of flooding in 1996, 1998, and 1999.” None of these floods were 100-year-flood events, thus raising the possibility that the area could suffer more damage in the near future. “This plan should be viewed as the first step in the direction of comprehensive risk reduction in the lower Siletz region.” (p.i) Includes local residents’ priorities and summaries of comments.
