NotesWhile the Oregon Coast population of chum salmon was severely depressed, Washington stocks were doing well enough for the "Pacific Coast Evolutionarily Significant Unit" to not be considered endangered. "The primary cause of the depressed status of Oregon coastal populations appears to be habitat degradation." (p.212)
