NotesSiletz River winter and summer steelhead run trends were downward (-7.6-12.4%/year). Authors estimated that from 57-58% (winter) to 90% (summer) of spawning steelhead were of hatchery origin. Hatchery practices (past and present) identified as major threat to genetic integrity for steelhead in this area.
