NotesAttempts to determine how many hatchery steelhead were straying into other rivers to spawn, also if the timing of their spawning increased the risk of hatchery steelhead interbreeding with wild fish. Investigated the use of local broodstock in hatcheries, and some methods of reducing interbreeding between hatchery and wild steelhead.
